EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique
Emotional Freedom Technique, or simply put - tapping - is a revolutionary means of achieving fast results for many people to neutralize negative emotions lingering from past events or circumstances. It uses the same concept as the ancient method of acupuncture, only there are no needles!
EFT involves simply tapping with your fingers on the ends of certain meridian points, while repeating specific phrases that relate to the issue at hand. EFT can resolve everything from simply having had a stressful day at work, right up to resolving ongoing fears that stem from a childhood issue. Sometimes there is an underlying emotional issue for something that appears to be purely physical, as Eastern medicine recognizes that the physical and emotional areas are much more closely related than most Western medical routes acknowledge.

Now that you have the basics, we're going to do a short tapping round so you can see how it works! The topic I've chosen is one that most people can relate to - having a stressful day at work. You can follow along anytime, but you may want to make a point of going through this sequence when you first arrive home from work at the end of the day.
If you don't feel particularly stressed about work, that's fine - it's a great thing! - but you may have other stress in your life, and following along can still be helpful. Even if the phrases I'm using don't directly apply to you, it can still help with your stress because of what we call "borrowing benefits". You may also substitute your own wording for specifics that apply to you if you'd like.
Before we get started, think about how stressed you feel right now. Really let yourself feel it. Now, rate it on a scale of 0-10, with 0 meaning no stress at all, and 10 being about as stressed as is possible! Jot down your number or just remember it, and now watch the video and follow along with the tapping.
